If your monitor shows a yellow light and it won't turn green, the problem most likely lies with the computer. If your computer is not sending a signal to the monitor, then you have a computer problem. One way to test this is to turn the monitor off and the computer off, too. Turn the monitor on and if it is working, it should display a message telling you that there is no signal. If you see that message, you can assume the monitor is working. If you do see it, now turn on the computer and see if the message changes. If you turn the monitor on and you get no message, you can assume the problem lies with the monitor itself. If you have access to another monitor, hook that one up to test the computer output.
You can now either get the monitor fixed or the computer fixed, depending on which one is bad.
Is the monitor light turning off, indicating the monitor is turning off? Or is the monitor/computer going to sleep? How do you get the monitor to turn back on? Verify the power cord is securely plugged into both the monitor and the outlet. Try a different outlet.
Yes. Do not turn the monitor off by its power switch, let the computer do the work for you. Alot of times when people use the power switch to turn off the monitor, the computer sees that all of a sudden the monitor has been disconnected from the pc. when that happens the pc sees it as a device beimg unplugged and removes that certain device from the pc's list of things that should be connected, and when you turn it back on the pc sees it again and starts loading drivers for that new part(monitor)
check in back side of monitor reattch power cable after clean dust from it.
also check with other power cable that your monitor turn on with other cable.
First you sec your monitor power cable is not loos or power in properly if ok then you sec your monitor VGA cable is properly conect to your pc if ok then you disconnect your VGA cable in your pc then you power on your monitor and sec that youre monetor screen. show a masege or not masage like tiis : CHEEK SIGNAL CABLE or NO SIGNAL : if show this signal then you men your display card is not responding or monitor shows nothing then you meen your monitor is faulty then contact any monitor techenican and solve your monitor problem.
disconnect the monitor cable from your computer tower
if you get a 4 colored box which says power on self test. it means its not the monitor then you have to get the video card or the systemboard.
Ensure the video cable is connected (and connected to the correct video port).
Turn off the monitor using the monitor's power button and then restart the monitor.
Cycle the power on the monitor as follows:
Turn off the monitor. The power light on the monitor should be off. Leave the computer turned on.
Unplug the power cord.
Wait 5 seconds.
Plug in the power cord.
Press the power button on the monitor to turn on the monitor.
One of two things happens:
The image from the computer displays on the monitor and you can use the computer again. This indicates that the monitor was unable to detect that the computer had awakened from suspend mode. Turn the monitor off when it is not being used or disable suspend mode. For some computers, updating the BIOS corrects these types of suspend problems.
The power light on the monitor comes on but the screen displays one of the messages again. The monitor is not receiving a video signal from the computer that it can detect and use. Continue using these steps to adjust the Windows display resolution to the Monitor's native (default) resolution
Connect the monitor to another computer that you know is working to determine if the monitor should be serviced or replaced:
If the monitor displays an image from another computer, you know that the monitor works. Troubleshoot the video connection and graphics adapter on the computer.
If the monitor remain blank when connected to another computer, the monitor signal processing hardware may be bad. The monitor should be repaired or replaced.
-Turn off both computer and monitor
-unplug monitor from computer(still plugged into power supply)
