Question about Electrolux 25.9 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless-Steel

Electrolux side by side door refrigerator. White

Electrolux side by side door refrigerator. White pipe to water dispenser is cut at the bottom left corner of fridge and leaks water all over the floor when using dispenser. How can i fix or repair the pipe or could you please give instructions on how to remove it. Thanks, Michael

This can be pulled out of the door and replaced with new tubing.You may need to remove the front dispenser panel in order to get the tubing out of the dispenser.

Once you do that then you can pull the remove the tubing and replace it with new line.

We have an Electrolux ESE6078WA side by side fridge. When the water dispenser is activated water comes out of a hole underneath the bottom hinge on the door of the freezer side.
Your water line located there is broken. It's plastic tubing.

Electrolux 23 cu ft refrigerator (EW23CS65GS1) Water dispenser problem. The water dispenser on the freezer door does not dispense water but the ice dispenser is working fine. I turned off my refrigerator...
the line is freezing up if you pull the bottom drawer out of ref side you will see a rolled up plastic line they use it as a resovoir tank so you get cold water if you have a vent in bottom left side close it i have put insulation over coil that fixed problem and turn down thermostat if milk and other stuff is freezing you will have to replace cold control

My water dispenser is not woking on my electrolux refrig.
You can check to see if it's the line or just the dispenser by checking at the valve underneath the door. There is a plasic face that pops off and you will see where there is a white connector with blue seals on either side (it's small, the connector is just an inch long). You can take the water line tube off of that connector by compressing the blue sleeve into the connector and pulling the tube out at the same time. I usually disconnect from the right side, as the water comes from that side. Afterwards, get something to catch the water by placing the ends of the tubing into a bowl (they don't like to sit there, so you'll need to hold them in place) and pressing the water dispense lever. If water comes out of the left side, then the line is frozen somewhere after that connector. The tube runs up the outside wall of the freezer door. The easiest way that I've found to thaw it is to set a space heater/radiator next to that edge of the door. It should heat up the door enough to thaw the line inside of it inside of an hour or so. It is a total PITA, but is effective. Set your freezer temp to 2 degrees instead of the factory 0. That helps too. I feel your pain. I expected more from this model.

You will have to call Maytag at 1-800-688-9900...Motherboard is bad. You can pull out the little plate at the bottom of the water/ice dispenser, then unscrew the two screw. Pull on the bottom and the panel should come out. Unplug the white connector on the left. This will stop the flapping of the ice dispenser flap.

I had two (2) broken wires in the harness. I don't think you actually have to take the door off. It may be a little cramped working, but I think it can be done. Once you take off the bottom grill, find the end of the harness next to the water filter and unplug the white plug. Just below that is a ground wire. Remove the screw and take the green wire off. Then, next to that is a white "c-clip" holding the harness against the bottom of the refrigerator. Remove that clamp and you should have enough "play" to work on the harness. (It is probably a pain in the #*@ to remove the entire harness because it runs into a hole in the bottom of the door and then up through the door itself) You'll have to cut away the black mesh sleeve over the harness. I cut it with a pair of wire cutters as close to where the harness goes into the door as possible. There may also be a bit of black electrical tape at the end of the mesh closest to the white plug. Remove that, and you should be able to slide the mesh sleeve off, over the plug. This should reveal the broken wires. I just took some 12 gauge braided wire and cut a couple of pieces
