My sister in Scotland receives my e-mails but the replies to my e-mail address will not come through. They did until the first of the year and then stopped. I changed servers to DSLextsreme and for a short while the messages came back great. The messages started having some letter in red by the server saying they can only receive messages if the e-mail address has more than 15 letters. I went to a lot of trouble to make sure our e-mail address qualified, but the return e-mails still will not come through. Can this possible be a problem with the e-mail address my sister uses in Scotland, because it has more than 15 numbers. The server there is: jonbri01wanadoo.co.uk. It is the only thing we have no control over and we have been trying since Jaunuary 1. CAN YOU HELP.

If that's the case try asking your sister to call the mail server and ask them for the correct settings for her email, also ask them if you need to open port because some mail server require some port in order for it to receive and send email...

Hope that helps.....

Check the spam folder in your email, it is possible that they are being directed to spam mail.

This is an issue with the E-mail provider. Try using Yahoo, and you shouldn't have this problem.

The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was '[email protected]'. Subject 'Forthcoming stay at the Don Jorge Apartments',...

could be an incorrect e-mail address
call the receiver and ask them to send an e-mail to you then reply to that e-mail by clicking on the reply tab
tell them to use subject test one so that you know who it is from

I had a hack attack earlier this week in which scammers got into my Yahoo! e-mail account and sent the "Horrible Trip!!!" hoax e-mail message to everyone in my Contacts file. They also installed a false...

Sorry but the hacker never went into yahoo server. He hacked your pc got your id and passwd alongwith your complete addressbook.. Through which he was able to send those mails. I would recommend you to immediately change password to you yahoo id alongwith password towards your administrators login and also your net connect password. This will suite the purpose unless the hacker has dumped the keylogger on your pc. In case he dumped the keylogger then the only option remaining with a normal user is to format his pc. Else, use an IP sniffer to see the packets sent and received when you are not using your internet for any purpose.

You could check your friends/block list. make sure she is not on the block lisr.

Or; I would try opening another email account just for her, and see if new one works.

For some reason when i send emails to my sister, she never gets them. She receives emails from everyone but me. We've checked and double check the address and she still does not recieve my emails. However,...

Your emails (and your email address) is being filtered by the mail server that she is connected to. Your emails may also accidently go to spam or trash folders automatically (outlook will do this). This is especially the case is she has a corporate email (think IBM, HP etc). Try opening a gmail account and sending a simple mail with not much in the subject line.
