Bluetooth wont activate - Samsung SGH-D500 Cellular Phone

Here are the steps:
1. Make the partnership between the phone and the pc with the cable first and let it sync once.
2. Unplug the cable, turn on the bluetooth and make the pc and phone connect through bluetooth and save the device in the device list so it can connect everytime you want to sync without adding the device again.
3. Once they are connected to each other run active sync (with bluetooth still active) and press Menu-Connect via bluetooth. Here's the tricky part, it wont always connect. You have to do this a couple of times until you get a connection. For me its like 4-5 times and i get connected.

try to look at the bluetooth menu if it's visibility is ON. if not. you should turn it on so the other pairing devices can read your bluetooth..

have you put in a code this is usually 1234 or 0000 these codes are put in both units to pair them. the same number has to be put in both devices.

have you tried activating your celfones bluetooth? if so, try to turn the bluetooth so that it can communicate with your headset. if it still wont work, it may be your bluetooth headset.

your bluetooth inside the phone does not make proper elctrial contact on the board ta it to the service provider to re install the bluetooth device. advice by dogy.

There are two places where can be the problem. 1. Bluetooth module is faulty 2. Infrared module is faulty. Mainly there is a problem with bluetooth module. This module needs to be replaced with hot air. It needs to see repair center. But think...Repair will cost you at least 40 pounds. Is it worthy?
