If disposal has loose parts inside, you have to replace the disposal.
If disposal still work and doesn't vibrate and loosen pipes under sink, then it's ok.
The don't sell replacement parts for disposals.

I wrote tips for replacing disposals:

When I worked apartment maintenance, we replaced disposal with same brand disposal.
That way we didn't have to change out sink basket or move pipes around under the sink.
How to: Disconnect 2 nuts on p-trap and trap falls loose.
Rotate steel connector disk that holds disposal to sink basket, and disposal comes off.
Before installing new disposal.
Attach electric wire to new disposal.
Attach dishwasher tube to new disposal. Knock out plug inside dishwasher opening.
Push new disposal up into place, and attach to old sink basket.
Use new connector washer.
Attachment ring catches at three points, all three have to connect.
Re-assemble tubular pipe.

If this is your home, you want new sink basket that comes with new disposal because it looks shiny and new.
Buy a tub of plumbers putty also.
Remove old sink basket and clean sink opening.
Put finger-size roll of plumbers putty around sink opening, and then push new strainer basket into plumbers putty.
Tighten basket from below, wipe away excess putty around sink opening.
Install new disposal as described above.

Tips for tubular pipes:
When taking apart tubular pipes, start at p-trap and take apart as few pieces as needed to do job.
On image above, loosen both upper and lower nuts, trap falls loose, and then work on disposal.
Any tubular drain pipe that gets moved while working under sink needs to be disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled.
Metal pipes have rubber washer >> always use new rubber washers.
Plastic pipes have plastic washers > plastic washers can be cleaned and re-used.
Plastic washers have flat side that goone of the grinder broke inside the unit, is this - geno_3245_214.jpgpered side away from nut.

When reassembling tubular pipe, we use rectorseal on washers and joints.
Slap a good amount on washer just before pushing washer in place and attaching nut.
Rectorseal will ensure tubular drain pipes won't leak.

Yes, they are replaceable. Any of the big home improvement stores that sell that model should have them.

Miele CVA4066. When you press the coffee button, there is a pause i hear a relay click near the grinder, but it does actually move or start grinding anything, then hot water starts to come out.

Its a grinder problem but to fix this you need detailed technical knowledge and experience. It can be one of three things; 1. The Grinder has an inline protective sensor that sits on outside of grinder and can go open circuit. Test by bypassing but do not run unit without this. 2. The motor brushes can be worn out. Unfortunately Miele does not sell new brushes and so you have to replace grinder unless you can fabricate your own. The symptoms of this are a gradual change in grinder speed. 3. The grinder is burn out in which case you must replace unit.
So if this was a sudden fault then its 1 or 3. Regards

Why does my new grinder keep tripping the electric

cable lose or broke inside Re: Jeff

Is there a fuse inside the grinder to protect it from an electrical surge. I accidentally plugged it into a 220 volt outlet.

My MDF was built in September 1993. It has a fuse inside a black cylindrical fuse holder on the electronics board that sits aside the motor. If you have a right-angle flat blade screwdriver, you can get the fuse out without removing the motor unit from the case. I didn't have the right tool, so I ended up removing the motor/grinder unit from the case to replace the fuse. The fuse is a 2A/250V Slow Blow. I used a Buss CDC-2A to replace the factory "5TT 2A/250V" fuse.

I have a Gaggia burr grinder, Brevetti Gaggia SA Model MDF, s/n 7262. The handle that you flick back and forth to let the grinds come out broke off inside the unit.fixable? 707=837-8916 Thanks Anne

Look inside the grinder, The lever is attach to a SPRING .
May be the lever is disconnected (unhooked) from the spring.

It cost you about $15-$30 for the parts.

Grinder fell. Black "button" inside broke off.

Use just about any 2-part epoxy, clean parts with rubbing alcohol first to remove coffee oil and get a good bond.

I had the same problem, I went to a pawn shop, some times they have part for some of the items they buy . I wish you luck in finding one. it took me some time. hope you find one

My top been jar has broke when I moved. Where can

I would recommend calling Kitchenaid Customer Service. They would be able to offer a replacement for approximately $17.00 before shipping and handling.

Their toll-free telephone number is 1-800-541-6390.

Switch Broke

I don't know about the switch going inside but you can contact baratza and they will send you a new knob that won't fall off for free.

Ge coffe grinder one touch model 106854

Unfortunately you cannot solve this problem. Everything inside in not serviceable. The grinder is strictly a use and throw away unit. I would suggest keeping the plastic cap though if it is in good condition. I have owned 3 and all of them have had to be replaced just because the cap cracked. Both GE and Hamilton Beach make the same grinder. Start your search there. They are on ebay for around 20 bucks. Hope this helped.

Osyer burr mill 6389

Apparently, you unplug the unit, dump any beans out of the supply hopper, then rotate the burr intake module in the bottom of the supply hopper counterclockwise. You can then pull it out, and brush it out. You also brush out the other half of the burr unit; don't put water or anything in it, you'll kill your grinder. You can, in theory, wash the removable module, but if you do, be sure it's ABSOLUTELY dry before you put it back together.
