You will need to change out your timer, as it is non-repairable.
Hint:...Be sure to get the same brand/mfg of timer, or be somewhat of an electrician because if you do not get the same timer it will not be wired the same.
Also only remove and replace one wire at a time, it will keep you out of trouble and ease the installation of the timer.

My dryer keeps shutting off after a few 10 to 13 minutes...and clothes are not drying. An element was changed some time ago. it does heat up but keeps shutting down...is it the timer or element?

Turn the breaker to the dryer completely off and back on again. Also check that nothing is blocking the venting. Remove the vent hose and run the unit if you are not sure. Make sure the lint trap is cleaned first. It probably is neither element nor timer since it is heating and quits without the timer advancing completely.

Maytag Dryer timer keeps running

I have looked at your dryer schematic. The only thing that moves the timer forward towards the end of cycle is the timer motor. You are going to need a new timer, looks like they have one for 54 bucks HERE

Dryer not turning off when clothes are dry (model LDE 400ACL)

Normally if you have an automatic cycle that turns off the dryer when the clothes are dry, it will do it with a special thermostat or moisture-sensing system. The thermostat tells the dryer to heat until the interior of the dryer reaches a "pre-set" temperature.
When the dryer reaches the pre-set temperature, the thermostat tells the timer to begin advancing. If there is a moisture sensor, the timer advances only if the moisture content of the clothing is low enough. The timer advances until the interior cools, then the termostat tells the timer to stop advancing, and tells the dryer to start heating again. This cycle continues until the clothes are dry. But... if the vent is clogged, the dryer may never reach the proper operating temperature, so it doesn't send the signal to the timer and the dryer continues to run indefinitely, even if the clothes are completely dry. To fix this problem, clean the vent and/or internal ductwork and make sure the vent is not compressed or kinked. If that doesn't work, then your thermostat, moisture sensor or timer could be the culprit.

Maytag dryer PYE3300AYW Continuously runs

jefo, it sounds to me like your timer is not advancing. Does it move at all or stay in place? In what you are saying it will stop when you turn it to off, I would think it could be the timer that is the problem. Part # 53-1810.
