You need to install iTunes with quick time and sync the iPod and then you can connect the new iPod and transfer it back to new iPod from the same itunes.

Have you already attempted to reset the iPod? If not you will want to attempt that as your first step towards resolving this issue. To do so you will need to simply press and hold both the center and menu buttons for at least ten seconds or until the apple icon appears on the screen. If this does not resolve your issue please do let me know. Also in the future if the iPod seems to be frozen on the do not disconnect screen, shut down the computer and reset the iPod before disconnecting it. Improper disconnection can cause hardware corruption.
turn on your ipod, go to 设定, and then go to 语言, and then click 英语. and if that does not work... if you know how to get to setup go there and click all the languages.

Hi! Congrats for your ipod nano. Use latest version of iTunes available on http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/. Install it and then connect your ipod with the pc. Hope this solves your concern.
i have had a 2gb nano for 3 years, so i bought a 4 gb and cannot put my songs on it from computer and i can not afford to buy songs anyway i like olden songs as i have i my old nano if any one could help me thanks ps you dont get a cd with new ones these days thanks again
