SOURCE: Insignia DVD/Cassette combo player

I imagine you have checked the disk for scratches top and bottom, if so you can purchase a cd/dvd lens cleaner cdrom as the laser may need realigning and cleaning.

SOURCE: Built-in DVD player

Are you trying to play DVD's you've made or copied yourself or new one's you buy from an actual distributor? Because sometimes self-ripped Cd's & DVD's won't play on a LOT of DVD players. Otherwise it's bad DVD player and you should go get it swapped out if it's not too late.

Sony CDP-C910 will no longer play cds or eject changer cartridge

Mine did the same thing. My player was primarily used in the garage and the cold weather may have caused my player to do the same thing. I just fixed my player. I removed the top cover and looked at the CD in the play position. In the upper right corner from the CD, you will see a spindle motor with a belt on it. Gently spin the motor back and forth carefully with your finger. I rotated it a half-spin in either direction, careful not to dislodge the belt. When I turned the player back on, the mechanism operated as it normally would and began playing the disc. I was able to eject and reinsert the magazine without any issues, solving the problem. Hopefully that will work for you.

The system won't eject the CD changer.

You will need to reset your system.

Turn on the master unit and select the CD as your source. Open the door on the master unit to show all of the speaker numbers, here you will find a small pin hole next to the number 5 speaker. Use a small paper clip, unfold it and stick it into the reset hole. Hold the pin there for a minimum of 5 seconds until the clock starts to blink. Hit the time button seven times to get a solid time again. After turn on the master power and try the CD player again.

In my case the disc cartridge ejected when i was resetting the system.

Disc(s) jammed in sony 5-disc player--eject won't work

There are 6 or 7 phillips head screws that keep the top on; remove them and pop the top. This will give you access to all CD's. Remove them all, then plug the unit back in and press the open close button and check for normal operation. If it still wont open, it's broken a gear and needs to be serviced. You may consider replacement of the unit if inoperative, the replacement model is priced at $129.00 and a repair would probably cost the same if not more. If you need further help, post a comment and I can help you further.
