actually u better use the data cable for sony ericcson becoz connecting with pc sum times is a trouble for se phones.. CHeck the discovery of ur pc bluetooth on. And clik on recieve a file option.

I had the same problem on the same phone. Did you get a new phone of that/warrenty? Bc mine did the same thing. You just have to call AT and T help line. They will check your account to make sure you have texting on your phone. Mine did but it somehow got turned off. DONT WORRY!!!

Basically it sounds to me that the main FPCB is faulty.

How old is your handset?

Samsung handsets now have a 2 years manufacturers warranty (from the point of manufactur not sale)

All you need to do is take it to your nearest Carphone Warehouse and they can send it away for repair for FREE., Alternativly go to one of there Express Repair Centers and it may be done in a few hours. [carphonewarehouse.com/repairs/]

You need to replace the LCD on the phone take it to a mobile service center and have it fix.

that sound is some kind of ciphering in the phone i think it's supposed to be a feature that you network provider has to be activated to the phone....some SE W580i does that as well.

You can do it yourself but it is a lengthy process and you can damage the flex cables.
