Toshiba Laptops have the serial and model information on the bottom of the laptop. IF you do not see it on the bottom you will have to remove the panels on the bottom as sometimes they put this information on the inside of the panels.

Each camera made has it's own serial number so the manufacture can track the item for warranty service, it is impossible to obtain stickers for that reason.

I guess since it will not boot up getting in the BIOS is not possible which is a possibility where the serial number would be.
No other option if the sticker is rubbed Off, and what serial number are you speaking off? is it the Product Key of Windows? if it is you can call microsoft for the product key....
But if it is the serial number of the laptop you need then calling the manufacturer may help if the machine was registered before then they should have that on file, and they may ask for details like the proof of purchase of the laptop when you ask for the serial number on file.

U can check the serial number is BIOS. Keep on tapping F2 as soon as the computer boots & u r into setup utility. Checkout the serial number.

Yep, the sticker on the bottom did contain the serial number. For my m753, the Kodak website said they would repair for $60, or give 25% off of a purchase from their website (which has pretty good prices, actually). You will also notice that Kodak has discontinued the M753.

Normally serial numbers are only found on the manufacturer tag on the laptop or the tag on the box it came in. Take a photo of the laptop or cut/copy the tag from the box. Suggest you keep a copy of all submissions in case they lose it.

the serial number can also be obtained from yours laptop's bios settings, depressing the F2 key on startup should take you into your bios settings
