The crock on the 702 model has a crack on the bottom. this is the second crock pot I have purchased that developed the same problem. I want rival to replace the crock but I can't seem to get any response from them. Help!

Same thing for me...I have purchased 2 of the exact same crock pots and both have cracked on me...and I rarely use them....I called customer service for the first one but unfortunately for me there were not in stock...a year later they were still not in stock....ready to report this to consumer affairs...

I have had mine ONLY TWO MONTHS and picked up the lid, handle came off and lid shattered into a million pieces. Didn't know there was a one year warranty, so now I have to spend hours looking for the receipt (I still have the box) or GO BUY A DIFFERENT BRAND. This is definitely a safety issue.

OKAY...I'll help you figure this out

Rival doesn't even acknowledge that model number (3154) in their replacement parts. Makes me think we either have the wrong model # or the wrong manufacturer OR more likely we are missing a few of the prefix letters to the model number.

Please double check and make sure you are looking in the right place for it...here's a pic on Rival's website on where to look on the crockpot: http://www.crock-pot.com/CustomerService.aspx?id=rpt

If you are certain it's a Rival and the number is "3154" then call their customer support # at 1-800-323-9519.

If you discover the model number does have a few prefix letters, be sure to enter that on their search page (which is the same link I posted above.)

Not sure what the replacement part will cost but for $35 you can get a used 3154 with lid on ebay: here (that kinda proves there is such a model - so you may have to call Rival at the number listed above.

Here is Rival's parts page for your model. They show two different versions for your number, and the stoneware for both are out of stock. But there's a "contact us" link so maybe they can tell you when the parts will be available, or recommend another suitable replacement.

Rival's crock pot parts are at crock-pot.com. They didn't list anything when I tried 3120 as a model number. The search page shows where to look on the pot for the number in case there's another one to try. There's also the "contact us" link so you can reach someone who might know of a suitable replacement.

Need plastic handle on Rival Crockpot lid.
For what it's worth, when the handle on my mother-in-law's crockpot broke, I went to Home Depot and bought a cheap wooden drawer knob (about $1 as I recall). I put a plastic washer between the knob and the glass and another under the screw head from the bottom (to prevent cracking the lid), tightened the screw and good as new.

Rival sce500 5qt. slow cooker. the stneware cracked acrossed the bottom. were can I get a new crock. I can find replacements for alot of others but not this one.
I saw crocks like that sold at Wal-Mart within the last year. I have a black and stainless SCE500 and the handle broke on my lid. I called rival customer service, and they are no longer manufacturing that model, so, there may be models similar to that at various stores like Walmart. I purchased mine at Target about 2 1/2 years ago.
If the stoneware is cracked across the bottom of course it must be tossed. Calling Rival directly may help, they may offer a product at a discount
