Sony Ericsson K530i camera is not working, an error is showing that ''Another application is running, close and restart the camera'' please give me the solution.

try this...
" Download blueFTP any version on your mobile... now run this application on your mobile... there it will show u two drives C (phone memory) and D (memory card)... go to the file location in the application... select it and from options see its properties check the write option..."

This seem to occur on sveral Sony-Ericsson models.

You want to use the camera and get the message "Another application is running. Close it, and then start the camera".

This is a hardware issue.

I have a K530i.

This is what I do:  I gently knock the phone upper corner on something hard. Then the camera works.

It could be the problem with software installed in mobile(FLASH). To resolve it you need to update the firmware with the help of Online Update Service from Sony Ericsson.

Make sure to backup the date on your mobile like contacts, messages etc..before updating it.

If it not works you need to contact Mobile repair shop to FLASH it again. It means they will refresh the software in mobile.

This might be an internal application conflict or a hardware problem. Take your mobile to the nearest service center and get it fixed

Hello. Please close all the application that are using the cam. Restart the computer, then launch the application. This will solve the problem if not uninstall and reinstall the camera drivers, for the drivers either refer to the CD which came along to you or go to the camera manufacturer website ( ex:- HP.com etc) and download and instal.

also have a P990i and ive installed a new theme and used that theme, then i tried to enter control panel several times it does not let me and shows me a message like "Application closed/Kern......./Reason.........."!! So i turned off the phone and restarted it but it only shows sony ericsson logo and it is not going further.

have the phone reflash take it to a mobile service center and have that done there or go to www.topsony.com
