i am downloading from a diffrent pc is there no way i could only get the driver?

All of the driver files are available on the support.dell.com.

You can download the driver installation files to the PC that is working and copy them to a USB thumbdrive or burn them to a CD. You can then take the thumb drive or CD to the machine that needs the drivers and run the driver installation file from that computer.

as soon as i want to download it wants to install straight away cant save it to a flash disk

You chose to use the download manager instead of your browser download. You'll have to disable download manager:

I chose Dell Driver Download Manager but now I no longer want to use it, what do I do.

To make the pop-up screen display again so you can choose the browser option to download, empty the cookies for your internet browser. Choose the option for “Internet Browser” and ensure the Remember my Selection box is checked on the bottom right of the pop up window.

How can I remove the Dell Driver Download Manager if I no longer want to use it?

You can remove Dell Driver Download Manager by uninstalling it from Add/Remove Programs and deleting your browser cookies. For detailed instructions, refer to Step 2 of Dell KB Article 374623 - Troubleshooting Download Manager

You need to download from DELL website, since there are more than one versions of the 8200, you should use the service tag instead, see here:

It can be 2 things: Or the screen is dying, or the graphics card is dying. Try to start up with an external screen and see if it still blinks. When its still blinking on the external screen, your graphics card is dying, if the external screen shows no issue, then your screen is dying.

Sorry for the typo, it was suppose to be Dell WEB site

You can download the drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model laptop, better still type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on the bottom of the laptop. Also make sure you select the Windows Vista version of the driver for your Windows operating system.

Dell laptop 8200 usb failed to work

go to dell web site and download the chipset update.
chance are the connection on the motherboard is bad or the chipset software is out of date.
if the software for the chipset can't fix the problem. the next alternative is to replace the mother board.

How do I turn the wireless on the Dell Inspirion 8200

there is no on-off switch for the wireless on the dell inspiron 8200 if I recall correctly. Make sure:

1. The mini-PCI slot (might actually have to open the little door on the back of the laptop) contains a wireless card

or

2. right click on "my computer", properties, hardware tab... device manager. See if there are any devices listed (yellow "!") that do not have drivers installed. Go to http://support.dell.com and download drivers for your wireless card and install them.

Hi, sounds like your display/video card drivers are not installed... If you have an ATI video card you can just google ati display drivers... If you are using a NVIDIA video card then google Nvidia display drivers... make sure when you visit these websites you download the drivers for you country.... UK & US there is a difference...
