Maybe those shots you took were in the raw mode, If so then you have to convert them with the Nikon software that camera with the camera,to view them in your laptop, Try installing that software then view them again, Hope this helps,
Hope you have this figure out if not here goes. Sounds as if the camera is caught in a feed back loop. As long as you have down loaded and saved your images on the computer go ahead and format the card. When it says delete everything on the card select OK and click the start button everyone is happy again. By the way all new card and card after doenloading to the computer should be formatted in the camera. Never format in the computer and deleting images one by one is just a great way to totally mess up a memory card's mind. Format, Format
i have the same problem..
I have a Sony Cybershot DSC T70 and it keeps saying "Reinsert memory stick" whenever I turn on the camera or slide down the camera lid. Also, whenever I try to view the pictures on my laptop it shows "Please reinsert the memory stick" something along those lines. As I have been researching for the solution, I would have to format the memory card. However, I wouldn't want to lose the pictures as I just took many as from the holiday last week. The only problem is the memory card, I tried using another memory card and it works fine with the camera. There is nothing wrong with the camera.\r\nCan someone please help me how to solve the memory stick problem? It would be great. Ty.
I suggest that if you want to format your memory card (external memory card) just use the card adapter and insert it to your pc or laptop then just open your My Computer, select the removable disk (make sure it is your memory card) then right click on it, then select format.
Try formatting memory card first formatting it with your computer with a card reader then insert it back into your Nokia 6600 and format again.
Had thesame problem once and it worked.

It's also best to use cards with high speed data transfer in this camera.
Especially when travelling, it's best to carry a few cards, not only for storage capacity, but as back-up in case a card develops a fault. If you rely on only one card and it fails.... you may lose all your pics, so carry a few spares... same with batteries.. and ALWAYS use lithium batts in ANY Kodak camera... they have huge problems with alkalines.
Hope this helps... happy shooting and enjoy your trip.
