Turn of century ceiling fan remorte replacement parts

Hello, Larry -

It seems that the Turn of the Century brand of ceiling fans are sold (new) exclusively by Menards in the USA.

I suggest you call this Turn of the Century / Menards Customer Service phone number and ask about the availability of a replacement remote control for your ceiling fan:
800-887-6326

Note: I hope I am correct in thinking you installed a fresh battery / batteries for your ceiling fan remote control.

Best wishes.

The back of my Turn of the Century fan's remote control has this switch in the back of the battery housing. It's marked with 'D' and 'CFL' on either end. Can someone tell me what this switch means?

The switch is allows you to tell the remote which type of light bulb you have installed in the fixture. The CFL setting is for the included compact fluorescent bulbs. With these bulbs, you can only turn them on and off. If you put in incandescent bulbs, set the remote to D. Then you can dim the lights in the ceiling fan, in addition to turning them on and off with the remote. CFL bulbs can't be dimmed with this fixture.

I found this described in the manual for the Turn of the Century Midori 52" ceiling fan. This fan is available at Menards: https://www.menards.com/main/lighting-ceiling-fans/ceiling-fans/indoor-ceiling-fans/turn-of-the-century-reg-midori-52-contemporary-ceiling-fan/20338/p-1444433460319.htm . The direct link to the manual is currently https://hw.menardc.com/main/items/media/HONGK003/Install_Instruct/3551058-3551059_install.pdf .

I hope this helps.

We have a ceiling fan Apollo 52' Model 355-6788 but we don't have any instructions on how to put it up. Please send us instructions on how to do this.

On the remote part that goes inside the fan, it has five wire on it. One Red wire marked L goes to black switch wire from switch or Hot wire. Other Red wire goes to Net. wire from switch.or feed. Then you have A black, a blue & a white. They connect to wires from the fan. When finished connect turn light switch on, leave on & used remote control. Top left button controls the fan on/off. bottom left button controls light on/off.dimmer. There you go, all the know how to connect remote & fan/light up. Good Lucky.
P.S. You will need to buy a 9v battery for the remote, it doesn't come with it

Our Hampton Bay 52 in. Ceiling fan lights will not shut off but the remotes will still turn the fan on and off.

More than you will have to replace that remote and receiver with a new one . They sell them at lowes homedepot menards. Its very easy to install the reveiver is mounted in the cover at the ceiling. Make shure you set the little dip switches in the controller and receiver to the same number before installing.Hope this helps.

I purchased a 'Turn of the Century-Apollo' model 355-6786 cieling fan. The only problem is no fan blade mounting bolts and nuts, instead I have 2 packs of mounting screws. I've dialed the Customer Service Department to no avail. Is there an unpublished WEB site?
