Its all new to me. Kenwood FP 250. I can get the liquidiser part to work but not the food processor. The power won't come on when I try to use that. What does it mean "twist blade unit" on the top of the silver base. I can twist and lock the transparent tub and the transparent lid but there is no feeling of anything happening when I twist a blade attachment.

Check that the lid of the food processor bowl in clicked in correctly, so that the feeding tube at the top is in line with (next to) the handle of the bowl.
