Turn on your ipod before putting it into the dock -make sure dock is on aswell then connect it and you will hear a noise like plugging into the computer and then the whole remote will work !

Skull Candy do have a policy in some countries I believe of a lifetime warranty. I don't know if that applies in your case or if they will cover it. But it is worth checking out with them first.

Skullcandy Pipe speaker remote doesn't work. I just got it today at first it worked. It was working when I put it on my bed, then it stopped working. Worked again. Stopped working. It's brand new and the...

Remotes are generally not repairable due to the way they are made (using tiny parts, double-sided boards, and a few are glue-sealed in some cases) - but if you don't want warranty repair - INSIST on a replacement - in case the one you have is defective. Best way to test this theory is with a second set of batteries and see if it kills those as quickly. While not completely uncommon, I find it difficult to credit that a brand new remote would drain fresh batteries or fail so rapidly on the very first day of use.

My head hurts.

There could be one or two solutions here. One, your headphone speakers are too loud. Turn down the volume on them. Two, the headphones are adjusted too tight on your head. Adjust them to the comfort you want them at.

Faulty sound

It can be either a dead speaker or (almost surely) a broken cable. The only way to find which and where is to dismantle it and test everything with an ohmmeter. Start with the volume casing and the piece of cable between it and the jack.

One side of my headphones aren't working how can I fix this?

The exact same thing happened to me, and I was using the same brand of headphones. :/ At first I thought it was just a **** brand, when my left headphone stopped working and sound would only reach it if I adjusted the base of the headphones - the bit that connects them to the iPod - a tiny fraction. I had to keep adjusting it to get it to work.
But it turned out that this is a problem that occurs in all brands of headphones. I went from Skull Candy to Sennheiser to Apple to Skull Candy again to Bose and no matter what brand it is, it will happen eventually. I don't think there is a solution, except to keep buying new ones and try taking them out of the iPod more gently and less frequently.

No sound from the pipe unless I plug my phone into the aux...then it only comes on the right side.

I made the same mistake and had the same issue. You cannot use the line in Aux plug at the same time as the iPod. Unplug the line in aux cable from the pipe and the iPod will play beautifully in the pipe without it.
