Normally what happens in this case is the dryer belt snaps. You can test this by turning the dryer on without any clothes in it. If the drums heats up but does not turn/rotate the first thing to check is your belt. You could check the belt yourself if you have the knowhow or the expertise or you could get someone to have a look for you.

My dryer leaves a weird smell on my clothing anything i dry no matter what setting i use , how big or how small the loads are and it smells.

Try checking the back of the dryer, there should be a foil tube type exhaust. Sometimes if the tube falls off the wall (mine had a plug on wall) the lint backs up and burns or cooks. That's the cause of your smell.

U can also use a vacuum and try to vacuum the lint trap at the front of the dryer. U might have to unscrew the grill.

The bottom line is that there is lint somewhere in ur dryer and that's what is causing ur smell.

Dryer shutting off too early. Faint smell of something burning?

Check the vent for clogging condition that will turn off unit and cause it to overheat. If vent goes up to roof check up there also - that is where mine was clogged with a sort of paper mache clog!!!!!

3 lights on my sephia kia on at the same time

Hi,

Sounds like some of your internal wiring might be burning up. Check your Fuses too,

You can't drive around like this too long; take it to a garage to get it repaired now rather then later.

I hope this helps,

Thanks.

LG TROMM DRYER DLE5977 Burning Smell

It is a POS dryer, we have the same one. My suggestion get another dryer. We vacuumed it all out (don't you have a problem with the lint catcher?) Then it started loud pounding noise, which a lot of people seem to have the same problem, then our sensor went out and we had to dry the clothes 5-10 x's...now crack in stainless steel drum and is chewing up all our expensive clothes!

Dryer not drying clothes properly

Replace the vent tubing, sounds like something is stuck or it is crushed somewhere. So replace it for about 5 dollars and see if that works. It should since you disconnect the hose and it drys right away
