Hi nkorear, i am relay happy to help you in this problem but i need some brief details of your system ( what is your os , are you using on board sound card r external sound card ) but if you can you provide to me are i will give you perfect solution or else i will give you some basic normal problem solutions base on sound device.

Step1 : First of all check what is your default audio device setting. For this, open Control Panel > Sounds and audio devices, open Audio tab

See that the Device selected is your sound-card or on-board audio device. It should not be blank or some modem device. Set the Default sound playback and sound recording device correctly from the drop down menu. If your device is not there in this list see the step 2.

Step2: If the step 1 is not successful, it means that your sound device software has become either corrupt or has been accidentally un-installed. In such case, install the sound driver from the sound-card/mother-board driver CD. You can also download the latest driver if you don't have the driver CD. After you install the driver, restart your computer, and then check the settings as in step 1 again.

If neither of step not work, its mean your sound card is corrupted , i can give you two option for that

option one : internal sound card , you can buy one and give to your motherboard wight color install the drive you can get back your sound as good as old price range form 6$

option two : external sound card . now usb sound card is available in market u can use them too its very easy to install and use ( but quality will be low) price range form 3$

No audio on my pc desktop

You may have muted the sound. Go into Control Panel and click on Sound. You can see if the sound is muted, and can increase the volume, if needed. You will also need to decide it you want the sound sent to speakers or headset there, and which sound system you are using.

I have F&D home theatre.i have to connected it to my pc but it's not working

They probably said you must connect the sound card of your PC to the F&D home theatre.
PC----------------F&D------------F&D loudspeakers
Sound out------Sound in------PC sound out
The home theater just amplifies and distributes input sound to the speakers.

I use attached the pc on tv but i didi not here any sound please tell me sound pin cable attached the tv?

Hi sahazada pak,
As i know, TV set not support sound from PC input.
If you want here sound and still working with PC, you should use HDMI or DVI input from your PC out. HDMI has support image and sound in one cable. DVI only image without sound. if you use DVI , sound pc should connected to audio in.
Good luck.

After formating my pc i hear no sound..My pc is Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600) Help...

After PC format, you now need to put all the required pc drivers like modem driver, sound driver, LAN driver, WAN Driver, Camera Driver and other driver software. Maybe you miss this software. Check your device manager if you pc is not reading the sound card hardware because you have not install the sound card driver to activate the sound card.

No sound coming from computer. speakers work tested on other stereo

The speakers may work but you probably have no sound driver. It is a sound driver that makes sound come from your pc. Type in your computers name and model on google and download drivers for your pc. If it is not drivers then your sound card is faulty.
