Try this method to delete what you do not want.

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal
Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,
release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

Try deleting your songs this way

I can't delete music from my Sansa e260

You can remove content on the Sansa itself by highlighting the song you want to delete, then down click and select "Delete" while the song is highlighted.

Also, there is a setting within the software on the PC that you can change to prevent the Sansa from automaticaly syncing if you don't want it to do that.

Deleting songs

Uncheck the songs you don't want on your ipod. When you sync it, they wont be on there.

Lost Memory

You will need to reformat the GoGear in Windows Media Player, but do a firmware upgrade first - open the Philips Device Manager and click on the Update tab. Then click the update button. After the firmware upgrade is done, open windows Media Player.
REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your GoGear to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Philips Go Gear SAXXX" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and make your player properly read in Windows Media Player.

Sansa bad tracks and deleting songs.

That Happened to me once. You have to Format the player then it works like a charm.

My sansa e250r appears like empty

You could try an outright format, but that will erase all the songs on the player. You might also want to switch between both USB modes in the Settings of your player and see if you can find the songs when you connect, making sure you un-hide all folders.

well there is nothing that we can do you have to put the songs back on!! sorry you don't want to go throght that again then dont download the songs on put them on buy CD's

SANSA e250 PROBLEMS!

Someone else mentioned this problem....I thought it might be that some files have different artist names (or vice versa?). You really have to keep a clean library with proper summary fileds (artist, title, track number, etc.). First of all, you should always be using MTP mode (USB mode in Sansa player settings). MTC mode is problematic. Are you using WMA or mp3 files? The other person had the same problem using WMA files....maybe using mp3s would fix this.
