I am looking for a manual for a Singer Magic Steamer 7.

UNPLUG THE IRON. Figure 7 shows the wiring. Note that the lamp inside the switch is shown incorrectly. It should be on the other side of the switch. Also the 2 wires running down to the fuse are the red wires. The red wires are interchangeable. Use a continuity tester between wire 2 and wire 3 to test the thermostat. Should be open when dial is turned to the left. Closed when dial turned to the right. Also check continuity on the heaters. If everything looks good but it still doesn't work, replace the circuit board.

I have the singer magic press 4 but the control button is missing can it be replaced

Is it the owners manual you are after as I have one for a Magic Steam Press 7 Model MSP7
I have a press that kept blowing fuses and it's been sitting in the shed for years. A friend who is an electrician said the unit is very poorly designed as the steam rises up through the wiring so I am reluctant to spend any more money on getting it fixed.

Anyone is welcome to my old press for parts or to have a go a fixing it.
