To open shaver, remove the two round screw covers on the bottom by prying them out. Remove screws underneath. Slide outer case off the bottom. You may need to reposition the lock to get it all the way off. Inside, you will need to unsnap and remove the black cover to access the batteries. For easier replacement, it is suggested that you use a modified installation technique. This is to break the tabs off of the old batteries rather than unsoldering them from the circuit board. This allows the old batteries to be removed but leaves the tabs attached to the circuit board. You can then solder the tabs from the new batteries to the old existing tabs
If you are not able to repair the shaver yourself, shaveroutlet.com can do it for you. See link below

Rechargeable batteries fail if stored for long periods in a flat state.

If the cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

You probably need to replace your batteries again most batteries in a owc need to be charged 12 hrs a day for the first month at least to build up the capacity if not they will slowly dwindle and wont last long and will need to be replaced

Fully charge the Mobilepro battery

No. Lithium Ion batteries prefer a partial rather than a full discharge. Repeated full discharging robs the battery of its capacity (useful life), the Lithium Ion battery prefers shallow over repetitive deep discharge cycles. Besides cycling, the performance of the Li-ion is also affected by aging. Capacity loss through aging is independent of use however the capacity is affected by both aging and usage. Battery wear-down on lithium-based batteries is caused by two activities: actual usage or cycling and aging. The wear-down affects by usage and aging apply to all batteries but this is more pronounced on lithium-based systems. The Li-ion batteries prefer a shallow discharge. Partial discharges produce less wear than a full discharge and the capacity loss per cycle is reduced. Simple Guidelines to extend useful life of the battery Charge the Li-ion often, except before a long storage. Avoid repeated deep discharges. Keep the Li-ion battery cool. Prevent storage in a hot car. Never freeze a battery.
