I just wanted to thank again the man who helped me in this chat about 5:30 this afternoon. He was absolutely correct with his assessment of the situation. I found a Toyota dealer that was open late tonight and he
told me to bring the car over right away. They fixed the problem completely in under 30 minutes and didn't charge me a dime for anything...not even a service charge.

If you have exhausted ever other option; to get assess to the truck, take out the license plate; you or bogus shop man can cut a hold there to gain assess to the trunk. This is the only possible solution.
Assuming you meant to type car not care ..... If the man paid for it then yes this is the correct way .. if you are a woman and you paid then the car would belong to the woman. Now if the man paid and then gave you the car then it would again belong to the woman and this would also be correct. Of coarse the woman could buy the car and give it to a man and then it would belong to the man and this would also be the correct way. Now all of this is assuming you are a US citizen, if you are in some other country then no matter who paid it very well could be the mans car and you would not have much say in the matter.
Now if you did mean to type "care" ....since you posted under Cars & Trucks we should assume you are asking if the man should be taking care of the car? In other words should it be his responsibility? If it is his car then yes ... if it is his woman's car then he should be responsible for the care unless you prefer to care for it your self?
You need to check all throttle linkage and cables. Make sure none are binding or show signs of fraying, wear etc. Doubt if that has anything at all to do with the water pump but, regardless, I cannot stress how dangerous that is. (I actually watched as one man died and another lost his leg because of the identical problem). Make absolutely sure you know the cause of the binding and that it has been corrected before driving!!!
good afternoon i have an jeep grand cherokee problem this morning while im driving to work the car just shut off and when i took to the repair man. He said there nothing wrong with it, he let it run for 2 hours. when i left the shop it shut right off again. he state that he could tell due to no lights came on. and this is still going on what am i going to due
Check engine light might have came on because of loose gas tank cap, but it's a good idea to read the code and check if it's not something else, you can take your car to an Auto Zone and they read the code for free and tell you the cause also.
But if you want to reset the check engine light, only way is to disconnect the battery terminals and let it set overnight, check engine light will be reset.
Hope it helps and let me know if you need more advice.
