I have a th-50PX75U. When I auto program all channels, it includes the digital channels. It adds channels like 2, 2-1 and so on. However it adds approximately six 2-1 channels where only one actually is the high def. I try to "program manual" and say "NO" to the unwanted ones and the tv doesn't respond correctly. It actually does the opposite of what I request. Please let me know if there is another way to delete unwanted channels. Maybe like an automatic way to delete unscrambled channels. Thanks, Victor

I have a panasonic viera th-50px75u and i cant get

Try disconnecting all HDMI cables and plugging the TV into a new wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, it may have been caused by a small power surge from either your wall outlet or one of your source devices.

Programming channels for TV viewing?

You can often find the digital channel numbers for your local stations in a guide like http://www.titantv.com/ or https://tvschedule.zap2it.com/?aid=gapzap . Alternately, check if the local stations websites offer a link to their schedule. This will usually list the channel/channel digital identity. Another source for the digital channel numbers are the antenna choice/position/direction guides. Look at http://www.antennaweb.org or http://www.tvfool.com . Tvfool.com gives the direction and signal strength for all channel transmitters in your general area. Antennaweb.org is much more conservative and will only give the strongest stations in your area. That conservative list assumes an external antenna and clear path between the transmitter and your antenna.

In my area, the analog channel 7 became digital channel 7-1 . However, the channels 12 and 16 now transmit at 43-1 and 46-1 . However, after letting the TV do the auto-search, they are 12-1 and 16-1 when I type in the channel numbers on my remote.

I hope this helps. I might be able to provide a list of your local digital channels if you add a comment with your general location.

Only getting some channels to come in...

Check your latest phone bill and see if you have a basic extended package. If you dont you may have been downgraded to only get basic cable which is 2-13.

The auto program adds every channel that the television can detect.

Get HD Signals but it Says Channels not available

you might have to look for "hidden" hd channels.

most cable companies are broadcasting the local stations unencrypted, so you should be able to receive them and sometimes a few other "basic" hd channels like discovery or tnt.

try googling your cable system, city and hd channels to see if someone has posted a list of channels (eg, 88-1 or 102-1)
