He there,

You need to connect your Ipod to your computer using the sync cable and open iTunes. Look for your ipod's name from the left panel then click it to show the contents on the right. Look for the rap music you want to delete (click and press delete button). Then re-sync your ipod to iTunes. Thats it!

Hope this helps. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for using FixYa.

Delete songs from i pod touch 2nd generation

You must connect to the computer with iTunes. There you can select the music you want t delete.
For that wait till the iPod is backed up by iTunes, then on the left side click on the line with the name of your iPod. Then on top click on Music and then you see what music you can synchronise.
If you already did remove the original backups from the music on the iPad, there is a chance iTunes all remove all these numbers.

Apple has lots of info about every part you want to know about your iPod and iTunes.

I have a black 8gb ipod nano and when I sync previous songs

this is what you will do, when you sync it again stop the automatic sync the click on your player on the itunes window to see its details, you will see 3 or 4 checkboxes and check manually add music or songs and ucncheck if there is any, the box that says automatically sync music, then click sync, it will start syncing again the disconnect. add songs only to the folder where itunes have got the songs so that next time you sync the ipod the songs previously added wont be erased.

Setting up new Ipod Touch 8gb

Reinstall iTunes. That's the easiest way to fix this problem. But don't uninstall it. Just download the latest version from Apple run it and restart your computer.

Its best to use Itunes, the files are stored in the ipod in a very complex way and its really easyest to use itunes.

I'm not sure what you really mean so do clarify if you already have itunes.
