Location of the ir sensor on Toshiba regza

The location of the IR sensor on a Toshiba Regza TV can vary depending on the specific model of the TV. However, in general, the IR sensor can be found in one of the following places:
  • On the front of the TV: The IR sensor is often located on the front of the TV, usually near the bottom or the top of the TV.
  • On the side of the TV: The IR sensor may be located on the left or right side of the TV.
  • On the back of the TV: The IR sensor can also be located on the back of the TV, usually near the bottom or the top of the TV.
  • On the remote control: The IR sensor can also be located on the remote control.
To locate the IR sensor, look for a small, clear or black plastic window that receives the signals from your remote control, it could be labeled with a name like "IR" or "remote".
It is recommended to consult the TV's user manual or contact Toshiba customer service for more specific information on the location of the IR sensor on your specific model of the Regza TV.

Toshiba 32a14 does not respond to remote control

Hello
There is a infrared light sensor inside the TV which detects the infrared rays emitted from the remote control, when we press each button on the remote control. If this sensor has got damaged, the set won't respond to any remote control handset. The sensor can be located just behind the infrared sensor window at the front panel of the TV. To access it, you have to open the TV. It is a three terminal component, will be soldered diretily to front panel circuit board, of with the main baord itslef. Will look somewhat brownish black in colour. There are so many types can be seen . Just look what type if fitted with your TV.

Where is the remote sensor for the Toshiba 50A62?

Hello
Remote sensor is an internal component, and can be locakted just beneath the remote sensor window at the front panel of all TVs. It is usually a three terminal black colure component, diretly soldered to a circuit board. In some sets, it will be on a seperate circuit board, and in some otheres it will be soldered to the front panel control switches board. OK.

Hello! The picture on my toshiba cz36v51 is halved vertically, and has a duplicate picture on either side. Is that fixable? This problem occurs when trying to watch movies, cable, xbox...etc. Fixable or...

Sounds like you have a horizontal timing error causing the mirrored image. It is fixable but would require the main board to be replaced. The part number is 23783078 but appears to be no longer available.

After power button is turned on the led light flashes, and the only way I can get a picture is to bang on the front of the tv by the power button.

Sounds like you have a "Dry Joint" or bad connection, or even a faulty power switch.. this is a fairly common one... try a switch replacement first? Or look for a bad joint on or around the switch connections.

I have a Toshiba cz36v51 that won't come on...

I do not have that make and model. However:

Some remotes have to have a code set that matches the brand of the tv. Your remote should have come with a list of brands and codes.

Alternatively, the instructions for your remote should tell you how to determine which code to use.

Paper jam

The paper jams in the bottom because the leading edge hasn't reached the correct sensor in time, thus causing a jam message. Do a sensor test on the front panel of the printer before replacing any parts. Go into Diagnostics/Sensor test and you will see the letters across the top follwed by numbers below. Then you want to toggle the sensors located through out the paper path-usually black plastic hanging done into the tray areas. Up in output tray has black plastic hanging down-sensors. lift top cover and you can see the sensors on the left side of the top a black horseshoe shape is a sensor. This will help with the correct parts needed to be replaced.

Remote signals

If you tryed a universal remote , that remote should have at least worked the volume and the channels selector. It could be whats called a remote sensor assy thats mounted up toward the front of the set on the inside between the buttons. Its not really a user changeable part as there is soldering involved to replace the sensor. Realisticly, the correct way to trouble-shoot this set is to look at the data or logic line coming out of the remote sensor with an osilliscope to see the data and if it goes all the way to the microprocessor IC. If it does and no remote operation happens then the Micro's bad. Theres way to much Hi-voltage in these sets for a handi-person to tinker with, and its advised that a tech take a look at this set for you . Sorry I couldnbt be of more assistance. Good Luck
