I am getting an error message that says : could not preform end of disc-at-once

Hi Aubri,

• First, open the Device Manager and uninstall the drive.
  

• If you need instructions on how to open the Manager, here is the link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283658
  

• Download and install CCleaner (free) from Piriform
  

• Run the cleaner to remove old un-needed temp files
  

• Select the StartUp tab and look for any programs that you know you installed but no longer use or need, and disable them. Caution, do not disable any system files unless you absolutely know what they do and that you do not need them.
  

• Run the Registry cleaner, when asked if you want to backup the registry, select YES, and save to a file you will remember just in case. I have used this program hundreds of time on many different system and it has never caused a problem, but you want to be safe, backup the Registry.
  

• If asked about a particular file that it wants to clean, select "yes to all"
  

• Reboot

Windows should reinstall the drive when the computer boots back up.

If this does not resolve your problem, try the following.

If you take all these step and you still can not burn a DVD, chances are your DVD burner componet needs to be replaced. Good Luck.
