Hampton Bay ceiling fan remote control

I have a 52" Sutherland ceiling fan & light UL model 52-STL. The installer misplaced the remote control during installation. Can I get another remote and will it need programing?

Our Hampton Bay 52 in. Ceiling fan lights will not shut off but the remotes will still turn the fan on and off.

More than you will have to replace that remote and receiver with a new one . They sell them at lowes homedepot menards. Its very easy to install the reveiver is mounted in the cover at the ceiling. Make shure you set the little dip switches in the controller and receiver to the same number before installing.Hope this helps.

Hampton bay ceiling fan (7030T) remote does not work.

This symptom is usually caused by either a bad receiver or bad transmitter. Install a new remote system (receiver & transmitter).
