    I have the same make and model machine and have been watching the display gradually dissapear. It has been flickering enough to bear with until tonight when the last led light finally gave up. Could anyone be more specific as to which board it is that needs replacing. Luckily there is just a faint unlit digit still visible to be able to work out what part of or cycle you are on............Aggggggghhhh..........

This is a common fault you can get hotpoint to replace the board at a cost of £90 or buy a second hand board for about £40 sorry but this is your only option without sending your board to qer

Hotpoint wf840 displays h20 all the time
This is indicating a problem with the water supply to the washer.
Check inllet hose/s, make sure they are not kinked or restricted , make sure tap/s are fully turned on.
Make sure water presure is o/k.

Hotpoint ultima washing machine showing fault code f-05 and door will not open.
Error code F05 indicates pressure switch jammed on full.
Remove lower rear panel of washer.
Remove large black hose on bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here as well.

Make sure there is no water in drum before you start.

My Hotpoint Ultima WMD 960 displays "F04" on the display panel before the programme ends. Have cleaned the filter and it worked OK in spin mode and finished normally but now have put in a washing load, it...
Error code F04 means pressure switch jammed on empty.
Do the following.
Remove lower rear panel of washer.
Remove large black hose on bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter inside the hose.
Remove the hose on to the pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here as well.

Hotpoint ultima F-05 errorr appears on machine
Error F05 indicates pressure switch jammed on full.

Locate and remove large black hose fastened to drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here as well.
This should solve the problem.

I have an e15 code on the lcd display
Are you sure it is E15 and not F15?
F15 on an lcd display washer/dryer indicates dryer element faulty. this being the case then it will probably require a new element fitting.

HOTPOINT ULTIMA SUPER SILENT ( WF 860 ) 1600 SPIN SPEED.
I read that someone has a problem with F-03 on the display. I have seen this for the first time on my hotpoint wf860 1600 spin. I read the manual the only thing I can think of maybe an unbalanced load in the machine. Albeit the manual is not clear about this. P21 automatic features unbalanced load warning.
