0) Obviously, helicopter will operate best when fully charged... if charging light gets brighter when unplugged from helicopter, then it's not at full charge. Charge fully, then allow battery to cool for 10 minutes. Good batteries in remote also.
1) Power on helicopter.
2) Place on level surface and let gyroscopes sync. There is a red light inside the body (NOT the red/blue flasher in the nose) that will blink when you turn helicopter on, and will keep blinking until craft is level and stable for a few seconds, then will stop blinking.
3) Make sure left joystick is all the way down.
4) Power on remote.
5) Throttle up (left joystick) until blades move and then all the way back down.
This should get you flying. Let me know.

hope this helps,

My syma s032 helicopter was working fine then i charged it the it flies good for one minute then just stays in a hver position on the ground and it gets short bursts of power now and then

did you try replacing or testing the batteries in the remote yet? I have had my helicopters act funny once in a while and then changed the batteries and then problem cleared up. The remote might not have enough range when power is low.

Hi, the issue I am facing is that my remote is not able to connect to the helicopter. Earlier when I used to put the battery the light used to blink, now as soon as I switch on the remote it just does...

Helicopter should be powered off when charging. After fully charged (charging light as bright as it gets) and given 10 minutes to cool after charging, turn on helicopter first and place on level surface, this allows gyroscopes to sync up. Then, after making sure the main rotor control (left joystick) is all the way down, turn on controller, and quickly push left joystick all the way up (just until the blades move) and back down. This will link them. Also, make sure the antenna is still wrapped around the landing strut and not contacting any metal on the craft. And of course, good batteries in the remote, and ALWAYS let helicopter battery cool for 10 minutes after charging AND after flying. Also, NEVER fully drain battery, as soon as you cannot maintain altitude, land and power off. Fully discharging a Li/Po battery will weaken it severely, and sometimes kill it.

Please let me know if this helps, I love Syma helicopters, but they can be tricky sometimes...

Hey has anyone had problems where the helicopter is flying fine then all the sudden it falls out of the sky. Ive replaced the batteries in the controller and charged the battery and it still does it.

Have you messed with the helicopter wire antenna at all? It's the plain wire that comes wrapped around one of the landing skids and should be left like that. Also, make sure the metal antenna on your remote is fully extended. Normal operating range is 50-100 meters maximum depending on surroundings and interference. Are any of these potentially the issue?

My s032 remote does not respond unless it is right next to the helicopter there is no throttle control or directional control somtimes it will start but then shutdowns unless you put the controller right...

Did you, by chance mess with the antenna? It's is the wire that came wrapped around one of the landing skids. It must remain like this, and ideally not in contact with too much metal. Also, on my s032 I've noticed that even indoors and at close range, the antenna on the remote should be extended fully. Is the helicopter charged fully?
Charging/Remote linking:
0) Obviously, helicopter will operate best when fully charged... if charging light gets brighter when unplugged from helicopter, then it's not at full charge. Charge fully, then allow battery to cool for 10 minutes. Good batteries in remote also.

3) Make sure left joystick is all the way down.
4) Power on remote.
5) Throttle up (left joystick) until blades move and then all the way back down.
As a safety mechanism, remote disables itself if throttle is engaged at all when remote is turned on. Turn remote off, pull left joystick (throttle) all the way down, then try again.
This should get you flying. Let me know.

couple of things possible. 1) change outlet. 2) call customer service for the helicopter (should be on manual in contact section) 3) the helicopter has a loose cable connected to the battery inside the helicopter so you probably need to sodder it.

1) Ensure you're fully charging. Indicator light on charging unit should NOT get brighter at all when you unplug the helicopter. If it does, then plug helicopter back into charger until light stays the same when you unplug. Note: If you're charging with a usb charger and are using a laptop or the front side data port on your desktop, these may take several hours to fully charge as they are usb 2.0 and do not carry the full 5 volt dc charge. Use powered usb (3.0) on back of desktop, or get a usb/ac adapter. Normal charge time approximately 1 hour. Go by the light, though.
2) Don't run them dead. As soon as you can no longer maintain altitude, land and turn off helicopter. Fully discharging a Li/Po battery (particularly when it's new) will cripple it's ability to hold a charge, and can ruin them.

hope this helps
