Want to install a sound device

I want to inall a sound device in my system(laptop) because i dont have any sound device installed in my laptop and i am unable to play any song.whenever i want to play any song i get an information from media player you dont have any sound device installed in your system.

cannot run the songs as the message comes - window media player can't play the songs as there is not any sound device installed on the computer.

I also have a same problem, some one uninstall my sound device in my pc so cannot run the songs as the message comes - window media player can't play the songs as there is not any sound device installed on the computer. Kindly pls advice...

I have reinstall the windows xp prof to my hp laptop. wen i play music no sounds. wat should i do?

The reason you dont have any sound is that the sound card on your Laptop needs a driver to work normally again, There is usually a website where you can download the drivers from the manufacturer of your laptop for example : dell, compaq.. just reply with the model of your computer and i can help you find the necessary drivers for the sound.

Hello - I recently rebuilt my laptop and my sound does not work. In system device settings my ethernet base system device are shown with a yellow explanation mark. please kindly assist where...

Anything with the yellow ? means the driver is not installed. If you have the cd which came with laptop you can install from that if not goto support at Dell website choose your laptop model and operating system and get all the latest drivers. Please dont forget to vote ..cheers from Scott

Hello :

Did you install the sound driver software ? If no , then you should do that .

Here are two links that explain the difference between HDMI and DVI.:

If that didn't solve the problem , then I'll tell you what to do :
On the desktop just go to [My computer] and click right mouse and down to [properties ] . On the properties dialogue box just click [system] . on system click on [Device management ] .
There you will find all the devices that are already installed on your system . ((if you can see some of them is marked with {?} question mark , then that means that there is no software for this device is not installed = the device is not working properly )) . any way scroll down until you find the Audio device . Just click right mouse and disable it and reboot your system . After that go back to the same place and right click again and uninstall it . and reboot system again . Now you need to install the software of your Audio driver from the CD or any other source you have it on like flash memory etc .
After installing the software , just reboot again . Now you should hear the starting tone of your system .

ur laptop speakers might not be working properly or ur audio driver was not installed successfully. firstly install audio driver for windows vista.

No audio outpur device is installed

HI goto your control panel then selct device mangaer then select the sound driver. when ask to scan press no. select do ya self, when ask search net, press no, then selct advance install.

go through all the vid, sound, system devices in the tree then restart cpu. if this dont work then reinstall op system and press repair. so you dont lose your data files or docs

after installing xp your laptop what?
dont tell me already know ...
you cant find wifi,no drivers for vga and no blutooth.
you need to install the software for these devices separatly.
all the drivers can be found via net.
download free.
once drivers downloaded and installed system will detect new devices and install them.
