My Proxima Ultralight LS2 turns off w/i 10 seconds of turning on. The 'Ready' and 'Lamp' lights indicate all is well and the fans engage appropriately; filters are clean and equipment has been sprayed with air. It looks as though - very briefly - the 'Temperature Warning' flashes prior to shutting down (and a relay can be heard clicking at this moment) but the light does not stay on. Is there a way to access the thermal switch or temperature measuring device?

The filters probably need cleaning. Also check and make sure none of the vents are being blocked.

are any leds blinking on the top? check all if the fans and the lamp. if you see dark spots or bulges in the lamp, replace it. if there is still an issue, replace the ballast.

I have power to my Proxima ultralight LX2, the ready button is green and the lamp is red. The machine will power on for a short time and then power off with a flicker of light from the bulb. I am...

Hi,
It sounds like you should check the lamp to see if it has too many hours on it. The bulb should look pretty clear & round without bulging & dark spots or fogging. If it has a lot of hours it needs to be replaced. It may also be a fan that is not turning on or is not turning fast enough. Use canned air & while unplugged spray the fans to make them spin fast. You can use a flashlight to try & locate the fans behind the vented areas arount the case. If a fan is not working properly it will cause the unit to shut down. Also check your indicator lights on top & compare with the troubleshooting portion of the user guide. You can get a user guide download from google search.
Good luck,
Jim

Dear Sir My projector Ultralight LS2 have Brightness and sharpness very weak after 10 years working. I have replaced lamp one year ago. Thanks

I would say it has done very well if it has never been cleaned or serviced.
The light engine could do with being cleaned professionally. That should restore the clarity.
Hope that helps.

if the image is black but the light is still on, it's having trouble holding on the the resolution. reset the settings to factory default and make sure the resolution matches. if the lamp goes out too, replace the ballast.

Proxaima ultralight x350 light turning off

Hello fellows,
I have the same problem with my projector (Proxima UltraLight X350). I have the firmware v1.34.
On my projector, I found a workarround : if I press the 'top arrow' button on the projector at the message prompt, this one simply disapears and the projector works for hour. The drawback is the red led that don't stop blinking.
Can you cooperate and tell us if this solution worked on your projector ? Please also join the firmware version (found in the service menu, with the lamp life).
Cordially,
Tristan

Proxima Ultralight x350 no valid input source error?

reset the settings to factory default. if that doesn't work, the lamp may not have enough power to stay on. if the lamp doesn't have many hours on it, it's the ballast.
