Organize and transfer music and pictures with Windows Media Player11
4.1 About Windows Media Player 11
While your player will work with Windows Media Player 10, we suggest that you use
Windows Media Player 11 for a more enhanced media experience, both on the computer
and on your player.
Windows Media Player 11 is an all-in-one playback and recording program that lets you
play your CDs, rip CD tracks to your hard disk, transfer media files to your player, etc. This chapter describes the steps that you need to follow to successfully set up and transfer music and pictures to your player. For more information, see Windows Media Player Help on your computer or visit www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/faq/default.mspx
Important: Make sure that you have installed the Windows Media Player 11 software provided in the accompanying CD for music and picture transfer.
Although Windows Media Player also lets you transfer video files from your computer
to the player, please use the MediaConverter for Philips provided in the accompanying
CD for video transfers. For more information regarding transfer of videos, see 3.6
Transfer video.
4.2.1 Add music and picture files to Windows Media Player library
By default, Windows Media Player automatically loads all the music and picture files
stored in your My Music and My Pictures folders into the library. If you add new files to
these folders, they will also be automatically added to the library.
Add music and picture files that are stored elsewhere on your computer or
computer network
1 Select Start > All Programs > Windows Media Player to launch Windows Media
Player program.
2 Click the down arrow beneath the Library tab and select Add to Library ...
3 Click <<Advanced Options to expand the dialog box.
4 Click Add...
> Add folder dialog box appears.
5 Select a folder in which you have kept your music or picture files and click OK.
6 Return to Add to library dialog box and click OK.
> Windows Media Player will start scanning the folder and add available music or picture files
to the library.
7 Click Close when done.

How can i put music on facebook

You can't.
You can however put music on soundcloud (assuming it's your own recorded music) and link to it on facebook.
But more likely you want to have music play on facebook, similar to MySpace, which is not possible.

How do i put music on my psp i want to put music on my psp but i don't know how to

You need to first put the stick in the PSP and start it. Connect it to your PC with a USB. Open up the PSP in My Computer and goto the music folder. Place any music you want there. Disconnect the PSP. Goto the music spot on the PSP. Play music and enjoy.

I loaded my 2gig memory card with music and when I put it into my phone I could not find my music when I put the card onto another phone it played the music so am stuck now

In some phones each type of file must be put in a specific folder.
Format the card in the pc and leave it blank. Put the card in the phone and format it there also - this way the specific folders will be written in the card. Take the card out, put it back in the pc and find the Music or Sounds folder - put the music files directly in it.

I want to download music from my computer to my PSP handheld

well all you need to do is connect your psp to the computer and put the music int your music folder. NOTE: the psp can only read from one folder in so you can't put a music folder into a music folder and then put it into the psp music folder. ex: psp > music > u2 > vertigo > Song = can't read; psp > music > u2 > song = can read.

I have a LG enV2. I bought a micro SD card so I could put my own music on my phone. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to get the music on my phone from the media card. Is there a way?

Ok, format your micro sd card, and then put it in your phone, and mess around in your music, then put it back in your pc and put your music in the media or the music file.. dont remember which one it was, and then put it in your phone. Now you can open your music and it will find them! Enjoy!

Help with downloading music from computer to phone

One way to to put music on your phone, is by using a memory card. The Micro sd cards come with an adapter that allows you to insert it in a card reader slot. Then simply copy music into the Music folder on the card. The cards I have purchased already had music and picture folders established on them.
