Question about Computers & Internet
Did you buy the notebook with an operating system (Windows) preinstalled?
Sometimes you just get the hardware and need to install the operating systems yourself.

The message you see is your Computer's BIOS. After you answered my first question we might need to take a look into that.
How can i find out if there is already an operating system preinstalled ? (I've got some disks with drivers and stuff in case this helps)
There should be something written on the packaging or your receit.
Is there a sticker on the keyboard (saying Windows 7)?
Is there a sticker underneath the laptop (Windows 7 Key)?
No there is nothing else than "asus blabla" stickers...Nothing about windows..
Then you'll have to install Windows yourself. It is not difficult. You'll need to buy a copy first (if you don't have one).
Oh also there is a sticker that has the characteristics about this laptop about display, hdd, memory etc. and there is a gap in OS line...(OS is operative system right ?)
Ok then i ll go buy....any suggestions ? ( Windows 7 or XP ?)
..and thanks for your time! I really appreciate it! Bye.
Yes, OS is operating system.
Get Windows 7 - it's really good and very easy to install.
Good luck!
