I had this problem last year and my daughter said there is a button on the side of the phone i pressed that and the photos went the right way up hope this helps (sometimes use one of the volume keys)

the problem can be solved.The phone has two fault:
the freezing of the phone
and
the upside down letters.
The freezing the phone is caused when there is virus infection on the phone or there is an application that is affected.
The phones memory has been corrupted and it needs to be restored by flashing the phone.
And for the upside down letters, when the flex of the phone that is connected to the front board that makes the screen display has cut, it starts to display funny letters. So the flex of the phone needs to be replaced with another one for those funny letters to stop.
yeah it sounds like. any water damage? maybe you dropped it? you cant really fix those types of problems but maybe you could get a replacement for free
