I get a message that says Internet explorer has stopped working. I can't get it to work at all.

Do you get an error message which asks you send or dont send? if yes, delete all the temporary files by clicking on tools menu -> internet options -> general tab -> click delete button -> click delete all.
If there is no message before internet restarts, then uninstall internet explorer 7 from 'add/remove programs and try in ie6. if that does not work then remove ie6 from 'add/remove windows components' and restart computer then check internet explorer in 'add/remove windows components' and restart again. It should work.

There are 2 ways by which you stop this from happening
1. Right click on My computer >> Goto Properties >> click Advanced >> Under Performance click on settings >> click the advanced TAB on the top >> Under virtual memory click on Change >> Select " System managed size and then click on Set >> Click OK >> Click apply and OK >> Reboot PC
2. Once PC is rebooted
Goto Ctrl panel >> Open Internet Options >> Click on Advanced TAB on the top >> Under Browsing category Look for " Enable third party browser extensions (Requires Restart)
MAKE SURE that this option should be unchecked ( Not ticked )
Click Apply and OK
Click Close
Close Ctrl Panel
Reboot PC


NOW it should work fine

Greetings my name is Mark and I will be glad to assist you.
When you close out does it give you a message to "close all tabs. If so and you ok it will shut down everything that internet explorer is working on. When I/E is open and you want to close only the screen you are on look at the top of the page and you will see the tabs that are currently open and close them individually from there.

Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools
Click on Internet Options
Click on Advanced on the Top and under the browsing category you will see an option for : "Enable Third party browser extensions"
Un check it and click on apply and OK
Then close the browser and restart Internet explorer
This might fix the problem....
