If you've already swapped them left to right to prove the speaker works bt the channel doesn't then you know the problem is in the electronics. Is it one or more sources? Turn the receiver off and manually operate all the switches and knobs throughtout their ranges (particularly the Tape controls) and see if that helps. No? Take it to someone to look at it.

Check your speaker and speaker connections. Do you have normal display? If so, after checking your speaker and speaker connections and they are ok, you might have a problem with one of your output elements (Mosfet).

Cant get sound to play through speakers? proper way to hook up?

Do you mean HDMI from Monster, if you do ensure that the cable is connected securely to the correct port. HDMI cables rely on both the devices for sending and receiving. Nothing will happen until both devices send the opposite signal. Hope it works for you!

Can I connect an active speaker to the Teac AG d7900 output

http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB-184407791-av-digital-home-theater-receiver-teac-ag-d7900-_JM

It would have helped to know something morwe about the 'active' speaker.I imagine its manual would tell you what it needs for input.

Active speakers are usually designed to be driven by volume-controlled Line Level inputs. This receiver has none except for the Subwoofer PRE Output.

Teac ag-d9100 center and surround speakers are not working , very very low volume.. the others all work fine. Anybody know where to start troubleshooting. Its not a fuse that I can see , at least that i...

You have to enable them and turn the volume on them up separately with the speaker config, level trim, and up/down select buttons on the remote. You can also adjust the rear speaker delay time or just hit the test tone button and adjust the volume on each speaker separately as it goes through them one at a time...

I cant get the speakers to work the speakers have wire does the wire with the white stripe go in red or black?

well on the back of the receiver it should say whether or not the wire you plugged in is positive or negative, all you do from there is match positive to positive and negative to negative (red is positive)

Keeps blowing fuse.

Dissconnect ALL speakers from back of unit then try to turn on.
If it works you have a speaker short.
If not, you have a more serious problem.
DO NOT replace the fuse with anything else but what was specified, as it can cause a fire!

Buzzing Sound

You've got a fried output transistor or one of the small preamp transistors that feed the output on the left channel. Both of these transistors are after the volumn control so it would have no effect on the buzz. Good luck.
