I jumped my volvo and the radio has not worked since. People keep telling me to check my fuses and enter my anti theft code. The fuses look fine and the radio will not turn on to enter the code.

Depending on the unit, there can be a fuse behind the radio check this. If the fuse is there and ok you'll need to check the power feed to the unit using a multimeter.

My 2000 Volvo v70 xc's radio is not working. I

Your radio has been replaced, not uncommon for that year and the SC series of radios. The dealer will need to remove the radio (real easy to do) and has to get 2 numbers from the tag on top and query them through the Volvo DMS system. Note that if you enter the wrong code 3 times the radio will say OFF and you will have to leave the key in position 1 for up to 4 hours till the radio anti-theft resets and you can try again.

2004 s40 radio code retrieval for reconditioned volvo. Do I definitely need to take the vehicle to a dealership to obtain the radio code

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Volvo service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

I switched my lights on to brights instead of automatic and I forgot to turn them back overnight and my battery died and needed to jump it, the next thing I knew my pioneer radio wouldn't work, I checked...

Your radio, when power went down/off it went into LOCK mode. You're going to need to enter security code to get on again. It's an anti theft radio. Hopefully you have code in glovebox or with owners manual. If not you need to contact Pioneer and they'll want radios' serial #

Good Evening, I have a 1988 Volvo 760 StationWagon and I had my car washed today and the fuse box somehow got wet. I had to change alot of my fuses after the car was dry enough. The radio is stating that...

The code required by the radio is an anti-theft feature. Its put in place so that in the event that your radio is stolen from your vehicle, it will be completely useless to the thief. Take it to your dealer with your vehicle information and they should be able to enter the code there and re activate your radio for you.

I disconnected the battery cables to clean them, but when I reconnected them, the radio and the clock don't work. Why? And, the radio says to enter a code. What code is it talking about, and how do I enter...

are you the orig owner of the car ? That is an ANTI -THEFT code, the radio is asking for. It re=entered throgh the radio buttons. The Volvo dealer can assist with the code. In the future in order to avoid this problem, purchase a 9VOLT memory retainer, thatplugs into the cig lighter socket, while you disconnect the battery. Then you remove it
