SOURCE: My Bauknecht GSF 6550 dishwasher

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/PUMP MOTOR/DRAIN to work when it is commanded .If this does not happen then the voltage at these points must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage/drive from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect. The error indication can be a short in the circuit, check the heater circuit and the pump motor.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

Fault Showing F9 on display,

So F9 would explain why your door latch isn't unlocking since F9 means your door latch has failed to move. Ok so it sounds like your door latch may have failed.

Dishwasher stops after a couple of minutes and F4 shows on the display

the F4 problem in the Dishwasher is common, and the solution is often to replace the Water Indicator unit. This is because the light-action microswitch attached to the unit often loses its spring.

Replacement is HERE if required.

Also, dismantle the sensor unit to get all the "gunk" out. There can be a carpet of white goo covering the rubber diaphragm, get the thing out of the machine though the front bottom inspection cover.

Hi my Bauknecht GSI 5411 dishwasher seems to starting ok but then it stops after a couple of minutes. have checked the water supply tap as well as the filter and they seem to be ok. Please help

Set the machine to the end of the drying cycle, when it has finished, try pouring boiling water into the machine about a kettle full there is a sump level control beneath the removable filter (where all the **** gathers) if this has fat deposits on it this type of problem can occur.

Bauknecht GF7199 F7 light has come on

F7 error indicates a fault with the water flow meter .

Check the sump filter at the bottom of the dishwasher, then close the door and turn on the power. then hold the start button with the + and - buttons under the LCD display, until the drain pump starts. This should then reset the dishwasher.

Hope this helps .

What does F7 Means?

The F7 means that the drain filter is blocked or your water pressure is low. Check and clean filters. Good luck !

Bauknecht GSX4756 dishwasher

I have this problem frequetly - it's an easy one to fix! Just press the programme button which changes the programme setting you want (on my built-in GSX4756 it's the last button on the right) and keep it pressed in until the beeping stops. Then start it again (will probably be on the rinse programme if it's like mine).
