NO. Sorry, but the PRO-97 is an analog trunking scanner, and it is not capable of receiving any digital signals. For more information on this scanner, you can download and print the factory manual, at no cost, here:

Is this APCO-25 capable, the APCO-25 is the digital

No. The PRO-97 can receive both standard and trunked analog signals, but it is not digital capable. Also, there are no add-on boards or circuit modifications that can enable digital operation.

Can I manually input the same frequencies from my pro 97 to a pro 2051 and receive the same audio as my 97? I know it would be time consumming, but can I do it? Thanks!

If I understand your question correctly, the answer is yes. The PRO-97 and 2051 cover the same frequencies and the same trunking systems, so you can program the same information into both. There is, however, no cloning capability between the two, so all programming will have to be done manually. Once it's done there is no way to synchronize the two units, so the chances of both receiving the same signal at the same time are remote.

I hope this answers your question.

How can i get my pro 164 to pick up digital broadcast frequencies

Sorry, but your PRO-164 is an analog-only scanner. There's nothing you can do to or with it to receive and listen to digital transmissions. If digital systems are in use in your area you'll need a digital (APCO-25) equipped scanner to listen in to them.

Is the pro 2055 digital ?

The PRO-2055 is a versatile conventional/trunking scanner, but it does not have the capability to monitor APCO-25 digital transmissions. For an operating manual that is "Easier To Read" than the factory operating instructions, follow this link:

Problem with PRO-2066 scanner not receiving local 800mhz Motorola trunk system II. It does trunk with the current data channels used (showing the ---- line) but I only hear transmissions on freqs ending...

It is difficult to explain in simple terms but I will try.
Google rebanding.
Some radios can have their firmware updated but I don't think your PRO 2066 can.
Channel numbers and frequencies preprogrammed into your scanner have changed over the past few years.
When a data signal says go to channel X that channel is now Y, but your scanner is still looking for X
Hope this helps

Pro-164 scanner stops receiving when Motorola talk-ids are progra

I had to buy the Radio Shack USB cable 20-047 and install
the driver for it and then I downloaded a program named
"Win97" from the www.starrsoft.com website as listed
on page 21 of the Pro-164 manual. The cable costs
$34.99 and with tax you are looking at about $37.88.

The "Win97" software must be registered for it to work
after a 30-day free trial period. That's approx $25.00.

This is the ONLY WAY to go !! You put in everything
on the software GUI and then upload it to the PRO-164.
Works like a champ !!!!!!
