When i open samsung SGH-A707 cingular mobile it says "phone freeze SIM unavailable please contact service provider."

If you have entered the wrong unlock code too many times, your phone will lock up.  Call AT&T for further directions.

Your best bet would be to take it to a local mobile store to unfreeze it. You should've got it unlocked while in the US by calling AT&T and you could have done it for free. Sorry.

I had a similar problem a few months ago. A friend of mine suggested that I turn off my phone, take the battery out and then the sim card out (the little card that says either CINGULAR or AT&T) on the back. Blow some air to try and get the dust out and put everything back on, then turn on the phone again.

It worked!!

yeap 3x this phone has "tried" to be unlocked and now is set to phone freeze....you must flash the rom, with an external device called ust pro2 219.00 usd, or maybe cingular att can do this? if not search the net for people who do this, it's readily available i'm certain...hell i do it locally but i have no liscence for business so all i'm saying is find someone legit, it's easy to do depending on which hardware version the phone is. but as a pretty tech savvy person i'm telling you this is the only solution
