The joystick on the drums for wii rockband where the remote is placed has broken and it cant scroll down or set anything up to play the drums, its been taken apart and sautered and tried to be fixed but is not working.

I have a harmonix wireless guitar and a wired drumset. Neither will respond, though they both show a blue light. I'm playing rockband 3 with rockband 1 instruments. Only the mic works and I have no idea why. Of course, I've tried new batteries in guitar, re-synced, powered on and off.. to no avail. Suggestions? Its a new in box set.

If the buttons that you have are 1, 2, A, B, then you have the Rockband drums for Wii (the ones for Xbox have X, Y, A, B). You don't need a microphone to play Rockband, you just need to have a Wii remote on when you start the game. That should get rid of the pesky "Can't Detect Microphone" message and let you get to the main game screen to play the rest of the game. Have fun!

Yes, you do need to use USB for rockband drums for wii, but i don't know how to sync the drums, if they're wireless, if it's a wired set, just plug it in the back of the console, i know how to sync a wireless guitar, on the part you plug into the wii, there should be a tiny white button, and the guitar should have a white button on it, push both buttons at the same time (make sure that thee guitar has batteries and the other is in the wii), if done correctly you should be able to play, if the wireless drums work like that too, than i hope this info helped.

When you hit eject do you hear it attempting to push out the disc? It may be blocked by something. If it is not attempting to push out the disc then something isn't registering with the eject button. In this case, power down the wii, unplug all plugs from the back, wait 90 seconds or so, plug in just the power plug and hit the eject button (before hitting power or anything else). If it still does not try to eject then either the button is broken or the disc drive in the wii has died.

The rockband dumset is diifernet from gutair hero world tour's drumset.

Your setting maybe be turned down go to options and then the audio and video settings and turn the insturments back up

Unfortunately, the guitar that comes with the Guitar Hero does not work with Rock Band or Rock Band 2. Rock Band, as you mentioned, recognizes the Wiimote as the controller for the microphone.

Unfortunately, you will have to get a guitar that is specifically designed for Rock Band.

the wii drums dont work on the xbox 360.

Are you playing Rock Band 1 or 2 with the new drums? The Rock Band 2 drums will NOT work with Rock Band 1.

Was your mic hooked up when the system was turned on? The mic is probably signed in. The mic needs to be reconnected and signed out. Or reboot the whole system with what you want to use plugged in only.
