You have a multitude of surface mounted capacitors that have to be changed on the DVM module which is part of the Light Engine Assembly. Mitsubishi's are notorious for this problem. Mits charges $300.00 to refurb the Light Engine Assembly , which is not a bad price.

I have a mitsubishi wd-62525 the power light keeps blinking, and i can't get picture. i unpluge it than want 2min than it stop blinking and i can turn to tv on and get a picture than after 30-40mi

Good day!!!!

That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..

Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..

1. Open the back cover of your TV.
2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..
3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..
4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..
5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter

Mitsubishi WD-62525 bglod fixed, but inputs are broken

look for dried out thermal paste on the transistors / i.c.'s especially on the power supply board.
test while the set is on, carefully! using coolant spray (freon) and, a hairdryer to find heat related faults keep turning the set on and, off to replicate the problem as you heat and cool components until you find the offending component. the coolant is non-conductive and, will not harm anything it touches except you. wear safety glasses and, keep your hands out of the way of the spray nozzle.
remove old non-conducting paste if a component gets too hot and, re-apply the paste.
radio shack sells the coolant spray (component cooler) and, the paste.

Blinking timer light and cannot turn on

How many times does the LED blink? Does it blink 6 times, pauses, and repeats? Or is it some other number of blinks? Or does it just blink continuously, once a second? (Note: on Mitsubishi's it is normal for the TV to blink rapidly for about 90 seconds after you plug the TV in, while the TV runs internal self-tests.) If the LED continues to blink continuously after 90 seconds, then the problem is on the DM board. There are 4 electrolytic capacitors, grouped together. I believe they are either 820 uF (mfd - microfarads) or 1000 uF at 16 Volts. If you check them, you will see that their tops are swollen (slightly rounded; not flat across). They will check okay with a capacitance meter or ESR meter, but don't believe your meter! Replace those 4 capacitors with either 820 or 1000 uF capacitors rated at either 16 or 25 volts. Make sure you use good, high-temperature (105 deg C) low-ESR capacitors. I recommend the "FM Series" capacitors from Digi-Key corporation, part number P12366-ND or P12379-ND. Less than $1.00 apiece. Good luck!

yes the signal board is famous for defective capacitors as are the other boards. Recently there have even been reports that even the small ( surface mounted) capacitors have been failing on a regular basis on the first generation DLPs

that is a common problem with that model you will need the v26 power pwb repair kit and the V26 FMT pwb repair kit. You can get both kits at the following link which includes the replacement capacitors and instructions on where the capacitors are located. Heres the link.

Mitsubishi WD-62525 DLP has no picture

Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.

For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.

Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:

12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filter cover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
38 = Lamp Temperature High
39 = DMD Temperature High
41 = Short is detected
44 = DVI cable between FMT and Engine disconnected
