Polycom CradlePoint : MBR1000 Mobile Broadband Router 802.11g/b Wireless Adapter Logo
Posted on Dec 27, 2010

I have a Cradlepoint MBR100 Broadband Router connected to a Verizon Broadband internet device, and I am trying to get it to connect with my i-pod touch. It has worked fine in the past but for some reason, it is now asking for a password, and when I enter the password, it says "Session timeout. please try again" I have tried disconnecting the power, and reconnecting it, I have tried to reset it, but nothing has worked so far. What are some other possibilities??

Unable to connect ps3 to cradlepoint router

Your router probably is using encryption.
If so, you will need to set up the encryption on the PS3.
Did you set up the laptop and the Wii connections or did someone else do that ?

PCMCIA Verizon BroadBand Internet PC Card

You COULD do it, but man.

you are gonna be charged for each MB used, and honestly, it would be a terribly impractical approach.

Just to humor you, you'd do it as such.

Set up your laptop to run all the time. Have the Verizon card plugged in, and always active, and set to never drop connection. You'll now need a crossover cable, and you'll run the rj45 crossover from the ethernet on your laptop to the WAN port on your router. You'll then need to bridge the connections. Some versions of Windows support internet connection sharing; effectively doing the same thing. Now, you should have active internet.

Now, you're going to be charged per MB, you're gonna have a SLOW SLOW SLOW SLOW connection, and you should expect $1000 phone bills monthly.

Connecting my PS3 to the internet using a 3G Verizon Broadband

Unfortunately the PS3 will not be recieving internet through this device, the USB connectors are set up to only work with PC or MAC specifically for that reason that gamers cannot use their Xbox or Playstation, and that is because Verizon offers a Wireless router cell phone data device which costs almost a thousand dollars, definately not worth it.
