I have easypen i405, i downloaded the latest drivers from geniusnet.com. OS Mac 10.6.5 pressure sensitivity works fine in PS cs4, but it's disabled in Illustrator! when i use the predefined brushes i can see that it responds to the pressure, but i can't create a new one as the pressure is disabled. any help would be appreciated, thanks

i doubt it's something related to the hardware. As u see in the attached pic it's working fine in illustrator with predefined brushes. it's just that the pressure is disabled as if the illustrator doesn't know that there is a pen attached!!! some people had solved this but they didn't mention how.

Just a thought regarding the problem. A firmware update may resolve the issue. Try downloading a firmware update for your easy pen.

Double click on the brush you want to use to open up Brush Options, set the preference from Fixed Width to Pressure, and adjust the sliders to what works for you.

I unplug the tablet before I switch on the computer. When the operating system is ready I plug it again. I wait a few seconds or minutes (one or two) while the tablet is calibrating. After that it works fine.

When I connect my easy pen on usb port,the green light lit and after few seconds goes out.It does not work when i try to use it.

download driverguide from driverguide.com and run it afterwards delete it. Basically it will find the drivers and install it for you. Most of the the time you can just go directly to the company that it is made by and get the drivers as well. Good Luck.

My pen clicks on my Genius Tablet, but it doesn't move like a regular mouse. All I can do is click. I am on a Mac.

You'll gonna need a driver for mac to make it work. Go to www.geniusnet.com. Then search for the driver that will be compatible with your tablet. I think you'll see that on the "Download" page. You'll see there different drivers for their units. So you just need to find your tablet unit and download the driver for it. Like for me, I downloaded the one for Easypen i405. Hope this helps :)
