I clean mine like this, unplug the fan and head outside, I use compressed air and a blow gun. I blow the air thru the intake and then backwards thru the front heating elements and repeat until you have clean air in both directions. I average about five times both directions and I am good for the year. I have made a practice of cleaning it out in the fall of each year.

Soloniod faulty

check the filters

at the intake the solinoids {water intake valves}
there is a small filter

you need to turn of the hot and cold water
like under the sink
take off both hozes hot and cold
then take out the filters at the machine intakes
and clean them
you can take out the filters
using flat nose plyers to gently pull them out
clean them out from brown crypto spyridion carcus
and other rubbish
you can leave the filters out and run thru the whole machine on like 30deg with a calgon tab
does help {not scotland no lime here }
then place the filters in the intakes again
or replace the valve if it leaks water after cleaning
then the spring in the valve of the valves solinoid coils isnt so good
and needs replaced
but can just be a blockage

above all if its a new machine you just got
perhaps it been in a low presure area so the valves will be
low presure hot and cold
usually its just the hot that is low presure

so you need to check the cold water is getting plenty on like 2 -3 bar presure...

Was this problem there before you changed the fuel filter and cleaned the intake? If so, check your fuel pump.

Has no suction

The intake, filter, or impeller may be blocked. Make sure the filters are clean, and intake pipe has nothing jammed in it. Also when trying to get it going, make sure the pump is well primed, which means the intake water level must be as high as possible, and the skimmer box and intake filter basket must be full of water.

Suburban runs lean with K&N air filter

Check for vacuum leaks, especially around the intake manifold gasket. You can do this by running the engine and spraying intake cleaner around the gasket. Any vacuum leak will **** in the intake cleaner and cause the idle to change.

It could also be a dirty Mass Air Flow sensor, faulty oxygen sensor on bank 2, plugged catalytic converter, or plugged or faulty fuel injectors - thus, it would never hurt trying the sea foam.

Also ensure the filter is not over-oiled

Drain intake indicator flashing. We have cleaned all but the intake filter. How do you clean or check to see if cleaning is necessary of the intake filter?

After cleaning the drain, looking at the intake (no filter on ours) and the light wouldn't go off, I just decided to take the ctrl-alt-delete approach and hit all the lower four buttons all at once, bingo, it cleared the light and machine started.
