Where can I find a driver for the Agfa snapscan e20 scanner that is compatible with windows 7 ?

Agfa haven't updated Windows 7 drivers for SnapScan E40, but you can still install it in Compatibility Mode using the Windows XP driver. First of all, download the Windows XP driver from HERE. After that, perform the steps given HERE.

The only way is a workaround but there are some restrictions .
You need to have version Ultimate or Professional or Enterprise of Windows 7 .
If not , you need to have a Win XP install disc .
You can then come back to me for further assistance to work it out .
Otherwise , you need to purchase a new Windows 7 compatible device .

it's a little old...and might not be compatible, but try connecting it to your computer and wait for the windows update center to search online for your scanner's drivers

with vuescan you can use your old e20....bye

First thing you should do is after you have connected the scanner to your computer, go to Finder, navigate to Applications and then double-click on the "Image Capture" icon. Press the "Scan" button on your scanner. The Image Capture application will recognize the connected scanner and will display a preview of the picture. Select any special options you want for the scanned picture and click "Scan" in the lower-right corner of the preview window. A scanned image of the picture will now be saved to the "Pictures" section of your user folder. I am advising you to try this as your MAC OS might recognize the scanner without the drivers.

If that doesn't work, try the drivers from Agfa website for SnapScan E20. Website doesn't specify for which MAC OS version they are. In addition, here's a link to th manual.
