I threw away the instructions on how to download songs onto a Riptunes MP3 player, and now I need instructions on how to download my songs from my laptop. I have everything I need like all of the necessary cords but I threw away the instructions. So if you can provide me with directions on how to download songs for my MP3 player I would really appreciate it.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format.
You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable.
For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track.

Every card includes a unique code that is required in order to get the free songs. Maybe you can call customer service and report a lost card along with the serial number of your mp3, and then they might recover the code for you.

If you want an easy way to delete the files follow these instructions

Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release,right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
BE CAREFUL and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

WHAT 'S WRONG

I Tunes is only for Ipods, they use an ACC format to play
Most other MP3 players use Windows Media Player (WMVor WMA) format or other format to play their music and videos on their players.
You can convert the I Tunes (ACC format) songs and videos to WMA/WMV or other formats by using a "Format Converter"
You can download a free format converter at: http://www.formatoz.com/
After you get the songs,videos converted, download them to Windows Media Player, plug in your MP3 player and it will be recognized by the Windows Media Player and then transfer your songs to your player.

I'm having the same problem. My problem is that the music files that I just purchased off of itunes are MP4 files and cannot be played on this Riptunes MP3 player. I bought this for my 6 year old nephew for christmas and I wanted to have some music on there for him. I'm thinking i should have investigated this player before purchasing. I totally regret this purchase!

Legally: you need to rip any previously purchased CD's using Windows Media Player or iTunes.
Not-legall: you can find plenty of places to download music. Just use google.

The file formatt needs converting to mp3 or WMA ive got the same kind of MP3 player and this happened to me it didnt go threw the converting stage it just downloaded straight onto the player.
