Level the drier, check the drum for foreing objects, check your belt and replace if need to. Check your rear drum seal, and your drier idler pulley, and replace if need to.

Maytag gas dryer makes loud rattling noise. Not a squeaking noise, but something between a rattle and a fast, rhythmic knocking. Tumbler works, heat works, but insane noise.

sounds like the drum isnt balanced. either make sure appliance is properly balanced on the floor or make sure you are not overfilling the tub.

My dryer has started to make a loud rattling noise when drying. It works fine but the rattling noise is coming from the lower back part of the unit and nothing seems to be loose. What can I do?

My Maytag LDE412 dryer makes a loud rumbling noise when drying clothes. I have changed the idler pulley but this did not fix the problem. Will I need to change the drum rollers or could I just oil them?

You could try oiling them. I recommend Zoomspout oil. It is used in the HVAC community. It is heat resistance and non-flammable, will not dissipate easily. themobilian_419.jpgGet it at Ace hardware.

Dryer is making a rattling noise when in operation. Dryer is eight years old of so. Never heard this noise before.

Rattling could be anything from a bad idler or support pulley or coins in the vanes. If you can hear it you can find it pretty easily.

Hi my machine sometimes makes a loud rattling noise when its been used for a while. Its a bit concerning thanx tracy

May want to check your venting system to the outside. If the dryer cannot blow out enough heat outside due to the vent being clogged or kinked, then it will overheat causing panels and moving parts inside the dryer to get too hot and rattle.
