You can buy a new USB female connector and solder it on the PCB of your MP3 player.
You will need a female Mini-USB Type B connector, a soldering iron with a fine tip, flux and some solder wire. 1. Open the case of the MP3 player and look for the spot the lost USB connector was soldered on.2. Clean the pads with a cotton swab and some clear alcohol.3. Clean the female USB connector using the same method.4. Heat up the soldering iron to a moderate temparature.5. Put some flux on the solder pads.6. Place the female USB connector on the pads and solder it on by touching the soldering iron and the solder wire on the pads until a tiny drop of solder makes the connection. The solder should flow on the pads because of the flux.7. Re-assemble the MP3 player. You can then test the connection using a multimeter. Good luck!
REMOVE THE PLASTIC COVER FROM AROUND THE " HIGH/LOW BEAM SWITCH " BETTER KNOWN AS A COMBINATION SWITCH. LOOK FOR A LOOSE OR DAMAGED WIRE, POSSIBLY RED WITH ORANGE. THE WIRE MAY BE LOOSE IN THE BEAM SELECT SWITCH. IF IT IS ONLY AFFECTED WHEN THE WHEEL IS TILTED IT COULD BE A BAD COMBINATION SWITCH.
The problem MAY be fixed. I went to http://www.fixya.com/support/t14304-washing_machine_walks_across_floor , made sure shipping bolts were out, then discovered nuts that clamp the feet were loose. They are now tight with unit re-leveled. Testing is in progress.

Your son is right. the 2 screw of the male should be fasten to the hole of the female dvi. replacing the whole part need careful de-soldering.
However, if the shield is still there and only the hole where to screw in the male end of the cable, you can get from old computer discarded around. you only have to remove the two hex screw and replace it into your DVI female. Observe that the head of these screws are hex, six corners, and the hole is threaded. that threaded hole is where to screw in the screw attached to your male DVI socke
You said, When in spinning cycle, the barrel begins to move all over banging the
washer across the floor. I don't even know what to look for.
Help.
sounds like the coupling connecting the tub to the transmission may be loose and throwing the wash tub out of rotation causing the banging and walking washer. Bless You Huuum
Sounds like some sort of static effecting it but i doubt it, youve checked your'e wires but if it's a graphics card have you checked the card it may need re-seating, also check connectors for bent pins.
